This is a strategic, independent brand and digital consultancy, with an emphasis on new and emerging tech stars of now and the future. Work is strategically led, but also highly creative; the standard of output is high and often breaking new ground. They’ve won many awards for their work.
The team is collaborative, entrepreneurial, intelligent and friendly, made up of strategists, designers and client services, who all work closely together. The team doesn’t go in for big egos and it shows. Clients are from the UK, Europe and global markets. The main specialism is tech branding, but sectors in tech are widely varied from leisure and private equity to fintech.
The Senior Project Manager / Senior Account Manager role
The team is incredibly busy due to expanding markets globally, and they’re now keen to hire a lively, ambitious senior account manager to join the team, with the potential to grow and develop their career here. The agency has a mapped plan for development for each employee.
The senior account manager is responsible for delivering all projects on time and within budget on the client’s behalf, but must also ensure internal timings and budgets are met. As an agency, the team pride themselves not only on the quality of the strategy and the creative but also on the level of client service. Working alongside other members of the account, creative and strategy teams, the successful candidate is expected to consistently provide clients with a high level of service and ensure all work being produced is of the highest quality, answers the client’s brief and meets the client’s business and marketing objectives.
You’ll be someone who can think on their feet, someone who relishes a challenge and a fast moving project. Someone who enjoys taking the initiative when needed whilst still working closely with their team. This role will suit someone confident who is ready to step up to that next stage of their career. Someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is level-headed and dependable, calm under pressure. You’ll be capable of winning the respect and trust of both client side marketing and tech teams, as well as your colleagues agency side.
Senior Account Manager – specific responsibilities
- Helping to solve clients strategic and business problems on a day-to-day basis
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships through regular consultancy and quality of service
- Planning and delivering often complex brand projects
- Developing robust project scopes, requirements and cost proposals
- Feeding into account planning and strategic account development, helping to identify and define revenue generating opportunities
- Seeking opportunities and generating ideas for clients and advising them accordingly
- Writing detailed work specifications, proposals and informing creative briefs
- Briefing and managing both creative and development teams
- Manage the relationship with the client, attending and often leading client meetings
- Accurate financial management on projects
Senior Account Manager – your experience and skills
- Strategic thinker - able to understand the context of a clients business, their challenges and needs, and being able to develop clear and compelling proposals in response to these.
- Strong project management skills, always looking to improve the delivery and outputs for clients whilst making the process enjoyable for all.
- Sound business and commercial acumen, experience in budget management
- Client facing, with excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills at all levels within a business.
- Good team player, able to work under own initiative, positive and pro-active.
- Motivated with an interest and passion in branding and digital.
- Experience working with B2B brands, ideally in a branding agency/consultancy and an understanding of trends influencing key sectors (technology, private equity and professional service markets).
