Job Details

Within Leo’s planning department, you’ll be part of the agency’s “first creative department” - the place where all our populist creativity starts. To assist you in your role, you will be provided with oversight from a Planning Partner and our CSO, and support from a Junior Planner, as well as our agency’s insights department.

Specifically, we’ll need your help with:
  • Contribute to establishing and a growing account
  • Executing campaigns with strategic & creative excellence.
  • Defining and embedding rigorous brand strategies.
  • Developing strong client relationships.
  • Managing the work and development of direct reports.
  • Actively contributing to the knowledge and leadership of the planning department.

What Skills We’re After:

Creative
  • Must be experienced at developing simple and incisive strategies that have helped to lead outstanding creative work.
  • Must be confident writing and briefing creative teams - and have contributed to a few killer camapigns.
  • Majority of experience earned within creative agencies.

Culture
  • Must be a natural collaborator, inspire and earn trust within the creative department.

Commercial
  • Must be able to define, track and report against campaign KPIs
  • Experience in brand strategy is a preferred - including brand positioning, purpose and architecture.

Client
  • Must have routinely presented to and collaborated with your clients
  • Category experience not necessary, but experience with big clients is a plus.

Qualifications

Creatively driven - outstanding creativity will be your biggest motivator.

Diplomatic - must be able to work with stakeholders, serving their interests whilst also protecting those of the agency.

Open - must have strong interpersonal skills, able to listen to and work closely with your teams, creative department and clients.

Rigorous - naturally comfortable with understanding and basing thinking in multiple complex data sources.

Ambitious - they will be a pro-active strategic practioner, constantly raising the bar on their own creative output.

Good - Leos people are good people. They are understanding, grounded, humble and kind people. The successful applicant will be this sort of person too.
