Why BAME groups should be seen and heard
The visibility of people from a BAME background in advertising is improving, but tonally and proportionally it remains unrepresentative of the UK population, while the rise of populism is driving an underlying fear of and resistance to the broadening of our cultural frames of reference. For both moral and commercial reasons, however, this must be overcome.
